Frank Lampard has said that he’s hoping to welcome Christian Pulisic back from injury for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The USA international has been out of action since the New Year’s Day draw against Brighton and Hove Albion.
As a result, he’s watched on from the sidelines as the Blues beat Nottingham Forest and Hull City in the FA Cup as well as picking up five points from a possible 12 from Premier League games against Burnley, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Leicester City.

Next up for Chelsea is a massive game against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge and the two week break provides a chance for Pulisic get back to full fitness and make himself available.
Whilst Lampard is hoping that’s the case, he’s also hinted at the winger suffering a setback before the trip to the King Power Stadium.
“We tried to get him out there last week, step it up a little bit, but we had to pull out of that,” Lampard told the club’s official website.
“The break might have come at a good time, it buys us a couple of weeks.
“Of course you miss him. He’s a quality player and he was having a really good patch pre-Christmas.
“Others have to stand up too, but of course we’ll be happy when he’s back.”
Lampard also revealed what he plans to do during the two-week break.
“I’ll take a few days off,” he added.”I’m not travelling anywhere far afield, but it’ll be nice to spend a bit of family time.
“This job is consuming, I’ve probably given my wife too much chat when we’re having dinner about football and sometimes I get told! So I’ll try and refrain from that for a few days and then get back to work.
“I know the break has been spoken about a lot, but there are a lot of people at football clubs who do a lot of work, and the players travel and they need to be intense and put a…
