The winter break is here for Chelsea, with no game for the Blues until their Premier League clash with Manchester United on February 17.

Frank Lampard’s men have no game this coming weekend, with the Premier League fixtures split over two weekends to allow for a winter break for all teams.

As such, Chelsea’s players and staff now have less than two weeks until their next game, which will be a big one against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’ United side, who currently sit five points behind the Blues in the battle to finish in the top four.

Following their 2-2 draw at Leicester City on Saturday, Chelsea remain in fourth spot, but Tottenham closed the gap on the Blues to four points with their victory against Manchester City in north London on Sunday.

Christian Pulisic injury latest

Christian Pulisic has not featured for Chelsea since the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on New Year’s Day.

The American international has missed the past month with an unspecified problem, although Premier Injuries report it is a groin/hip injury.

He missed six games, including FA Cup ties against Nottingham Forest and Hull City and Premier League matches against Burnley, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Leicester City.

But Frank Lampard has said that he’s hoping to welcome Pulisic back from injury for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.

“We tried to get him out there last week, step it up a little bit, but we had to pull out of that,” Lampard told the club’s official website.

“The break might have come at a good time, it buys us a couple of weeks.

“Of course you miss him. He’s a quality player and he was having a really good patch pre-Christmas.
