Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits that a place in the top four is up for grabs this season, with Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves among the clubs chasing Chelsea.
The Blues currently sit in fourth spot in the Premier League with a four point advantage over Tottenham in fifth, while Sheffield United are a point behind Spurs, with Manchester United and Wolves both a point further back and Arsenal one of a number of clubs within ten points of the top four.
Chelsea face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in their next game, before a clash with London rivals Spurs as the battle for the top four hots up.
And with 13 games to play in the season, Ferdinand has said that it is hard to call who will finish in the top four.

Speaking at BT’s launch of its new, five-year 4-3-3 partnership with the English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh FAs, Ferdinand said: “It is up for grabs.
“There’s probably four or five teams who can get into that top four.
“And again time will tell – no one has hit a great run of form in the chasing pack to really say ‘we’re going to get that fourth place’.”
Ahead of Chelsea, Manchester City currently sit second with a ten point advantage over the Blues, with Leicester City in third place, two points behind Pep Guardiola’s men and eight ahead of Frank Lampard’s side.
Meanwhile, Ferdinand has been full of praise for Liverpool, with the Reds currently 22 points clear of Manchester City in second place as they storm towards a first Premier League title.
“You have to respect it, I think Liverpool have done a tremendous job,” he said.
“In the last two years the amount of points they have accumulated has been phenomenal. They’ve done that, you have to admire it and respect it.
