Chelsea news: Frank Lampard given Liverpool warning, Pep Guardiola’s message, big transfer boost

Chelsea’s stars have a rare weekend off this week, with the Blues currently enjoying a winter break.

Frank Lampard’s men are among 12 Premier League sides without a fixture this weekend, with the top flight fixtures for matchweek 26 split over two weekends to allow all teams a winter break.

As such, Chelsea have extra time to prepare for their next Premier League fixture against Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side set to visit Stamford Bridge on Monday, February 17 in what could be a pivotal game in the race to finish in the top four.

Chelsea currently sit in fourth spot, four points ahead of London rivals Tottenham in fifth place, five ahead Sheffield United in sixth and six points ahead of the Red Devils, who are level on points with Wolves.
