Napoli forward Dries Mertens will be hot property in the summer.
That’s according to European football expert Kristof Terreur, who expects Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal to all battle it out for his services.
Mertens was hotly tipped to move to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.
And despite Chelsea desperately needing cover for Tammy Abraham, a deal failed to get over the line.
Manchester United have long-running interest in the 32-year-old.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will be in the market for a cut-price options as they continue to watch their spending.
Terreur reckons Martens could be spoilt for choice once the transfer window opens again.
“He will have loads of options as a free agent,” Terreur told the Transfer Window Podcast.
“He’s 32 years old but he has the advantage that he only started as a pro quite late, so he still has three, four more years in him.
“I think physically he’s not physically worn out.
“I don’t know what will happen at Napoli, Napoli is a really unpredictable club with a weird entourage too, so I don’t know what will happen.
“But yes Chelsea will definitely be interested again in the summer because he will be a good backup option for what they have.

“I think there will be other clubs interested too, let’s say that the likes of Arsenal, likes of Manchester United, they can use somebody like that.
“Mertens is also a really positive character in a squad, he’s a guy that keeps it going and is a good guy to have in a group.
‘I’m not his agent advertising him but he’s a good character, definitely a good character to have in the squad and he’s very hungry and he’s always playing with lots of energy.
“He’s not the most consistent player but you he always gives the best for a team on and off the pitch.
