Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that deadline day signing Odion Ighalo will be included in the travelling squad to face Chelsea after the winter break.
The former Watford man signed a loan deal at Old Trafford until the end of the season as the Red Devils looked to add more goals to their squad.
Man United were linked with a number of strikers during the January transfer window including Edinson Cavani and Islam Slimani, but rushed through a late deal to take Ighalo on a temporary deal from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.
The striker has been forced to stay in Manchester this week while the rest of the Man United squad flew to Spain for a warm weather training camp, due to fears that the Nigerian wouldn’t be allowed back into the UK because of the Coronavirus breakout.

Instead, Ighalo has been training with performance coach Wayne Richardson with the aim of being ready for the game against Chelsea.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Solskjaer confirmed that Ighalo will be part of the squad that will travel to Stamford Bridge on Monday.
“He is going to travel with us,” he said. “We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp. We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us.”
Ighalo scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 55 Premier League appearances for Watford before completing a move to China in January 2017.
Manchester United are in eighth place in the table, six points adrift of Chelsea in fourth.
