However, Belgian publication HLN claim that Dortmund are eyeing up a move for Club Brugge star Emmanuel Dennis, with the report suggesting he could be seen as the answer to Sancho’s likely departure.
Dennis, who is valued at £10.8million according to Transfermarkt, has impressed for the Belgian side this season, scoring five goals in 20 appearances, including twice in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
It is being reported that the 22-year-old Nigerian forward is on the radar for Dortmund ahead of a possible summer move, which could then pave the way for Sancho to move to the Premier League.
Dortmund are not the only club to have been linked with a move to sign Dennis though, with several clubs across Europe reportedly monitoring the progress of the Nigerian forward.
That includes Monaco, Sampdoria and several Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United, Brighton, Sheffield United and Watford.
