Ajax blocked Hakim Ziyech January transfer – but Chelsea could sign star this week

Chelsea have been backed to sign Ajax star Hakim Ziyech this week after news emerged that the two clubs are in advanced talks over the transfer.

Ziyech was one of Chelsea boss Frank Lampard’s top targets in January but Ajax refused to sell and insisted on keeping the winger until the summer.

“I’m going to stick my neck out and say I think Chelsea will sign him in the next few days,” Solhekol said.
