Chelsea are plotting to re-sign Jeremie Boga from Sassuolo just two years after offloading the winger.
Boga was a product of the Blues’ academy, having joined the club at the age of 12.
Following a host of loan spells away from Stamford Bridge, Serie A side Sassuolo snapped the 23-year-old up on a £3.5m deal.
Since making the permanent switch to Italy, the attacker has stepped up his game and become more clinical in front of goal.
Boga has scored seven goals in 22 Serie A appearances this term.
And now Frank Lampard is looking to bring him back to west London.
According to The Sun , a meeting is scheduled today between Chelsea and Sassuolo to discuss the prospect of Boga returning.
Having left in 2018, it would see Boga make the switch back to the Premier League two years after leaving.

Chelsea have first refusal on re-signing the winger and can buy him for £15m.
Sassuolo would subsequently make a healthy profit on the rising star.
And the Blues have big plans for Boga, who they see as a long-term replacement for 31-year-old Willian at Stamford Bridge.

It remains to be seen what comes of today’s discussions between the two clubs.
Chelsea will be keeping a close eye on Boga’s progress in Italy for the rest of the season.
Both Willian and Pedro could leave the Blues at the end of the campaign, with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic seen as the future at Chelsea, as well as Boga potentially.
