It was obvious that Frank Lampard was not pleased that Chelsea were unable to bring in any new players in in January.
With the summer transfer ban as well, it means that only Mateo Kovacic joined the club on a permanent basis in the past two windows, with Christian Pulisic having signed last year.
Lampard will have to make do with his current squad for the rest of the campaign, but in the summer the Blues boss will be looking for an overhaul of his squad.
There will be several positions that the Blues boss will be looking to strengthen, with players going out and Lampard hoping that he gets the backing he needs.

A new goalkeeper
As shown by dropping Kepa Arrizabalaga for the Leicester City match, it shows that Lampard is not fully trusting of his number one goalkeeper.
The Spaniard has had an up and down campaign so far, with some decent saves but a couple of big mistakes that have cost the Blues points.
If it’s not a new number one, then Lampard will at least want a back-up goalkeeper who is going to push Kepa all the way.
Willy Caballero has been a decent back-up, however he is not a long-term option and the Blues boss will be hoping for a top quality stopper to come in and make his mark.
A new left-back
Lampard’s preferred formation right now is having Reece James at right-back, with the defender putting in some excellent displays.
It means that Cesar Azpilicueta is shifted over to the left-back position, which is not really the long-term vision for the Blues.
Marcos Alonso has dropped down the pecking order, while Emerson Palmieri had a bright start to the season but has also been out of favour.
