The 16-year-old has emerged as one of the country’s top young talents, with several Premier League clubs casting their eye over the teenager this season.

Sky Sports reported in the January transfer window that the Red Devils had tabled a bid for Bellingham in a bid to beat their rivals to his signature, but nothing materialised.

According to Duncan Castles, speaking on The Transfer Window podcast, Birmingham have slapped a £25m price-tag on the youngster.

Who is Jude Bellingham?

Jude Bellingham was born in Stourbridge in June 2003. He joined Birmingham City as an Under 8 player and has been with the Blues ever since, rising through the ranks.

His father Mark played non-league football as a prolific striker and his younger brother, Jobe, is also in the academy at Birmingham.

In 2018, Jude Bellingham made his debut for the Blues’ U23 side at the age of 15 and scored the only goal of the game as Birmingham beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 away from home.

He has continued his progression since then, starring for Birmingham’s development squad and featuring for England at various different age groups, with his performances earning him a place in the list of FourFourTwo’s 50 most exciting teenagers in English football.

Bellingham, who is captain at Under-18 level for England, made his first team debut for Birmingham last August, starting for the Blues in a 3-0 defeat against Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup, and becoming Birmingham’s youngest ever first team player at the age of just 16 years and 18 days.
