Chelsea fans already have a chant for new signing Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea have confirmed they will be signing Hakim Ziyech from Ajax this summer – and the Stamford Bridge faithful have already come up with a chant for their soon-to-be new recruit.

Frank Lampard was left frustrated after failing to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window, but the Blues head coach has wasted no time going after his top summer targets.

On Thursday it was confirmed by both Chelsea and Ajax that Ziyech is headed for west London at the end of the season, with the Dutch outfit posting a classy farewell message on social media.

“Hey @ChelseaFC,” Ajax wrote. “You have to believe in his magic. And great things will happen.”

Fortunately for Ajax, they do not have to wave goodbye to Ziyech until the summer transfer window opens in June.

Yet that hasn’t stopped Chelsea fans from coming up with a brilliant chant for the Morocco winger.

One Blues supporter posted the potential song on Twitter, writing: “Oh Ziyech is a wizard, he wears a wizard’s hat, he could have stayed at Ajax but he said ‘no, f**k that’.

“He cuts in with left, he passes with his right, and when we win the league we’re gonna sing this song all night!”

Chelsea have managed to land Ziyech on the cheap in what is often proving a crazy market these days, with Ajax confirming the deal can eventually rise to just £38m.
