Chelsea have moved quickly to seal their first deal in the summer transfer window.
The January transfer window closed just two weeks ago, with Frank Lampard’s hopes of bringing in a new attacker dashed.

He will add a touch of experience to the attack, with the likes of Willian and Pedro set to be out of contract in the summer.
But Lampard will still be aiming to add more players to his squad when the transfer window opens – after going a season without being able to bring anyone new into the squad.
Chelsea are expected to be busy, both in the buying and selling markets, but where could they get a boost to bring in some vital funds?
Mario Pasalic joined Chelsea in 2014, but has not played a single competitive match for the club. He has been on loan for six consecutive seasons, with the last two spells coming at Atalanta. Gazzetta dello Sport state that the Serie A side will be taking up their option to buy at the end of the season, worth £12.5million.
There are already rumours that Lampard does not see Kepa Arrizabalaga as the long-term choice as Chelsea’s No.1, following a poor run of form. The Spanish keeper was dropped for their important clash against third-placed Leicester before the winter break.
Links to Ajax star Andre Onana have already been made, but would there be a market to move Kepa on? Transfermarkt value Chelsea’s No.1 at £54million – but it seems unlikely they would be able to recoup that much if they were to sell him this summer.
In defence, it is also clear that Lampard is not keen on either Marcos Alonso or Emerson…
