Chelsea are the latest club to be linked with one of the country’s young bright stars.
The Blues are said to have been tracking Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham, with competition for his signature set to come from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.
United were reportedly interested in a transfer during the January window, and continue to be linked with a move in the summer.
Birmingham are considering the sale of their 16-year-old star, but hope to gain as much as £50million for the midfielder.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked, and the race to sign the young star is set to be one of the most competitive of the window.
However, Goal state that if Chelsea were to move for the young star, it could mean losing one of their own academy starlets.
Chelsea are in talks about extending the contract of Faustino Anjorin, whose current deal ends in 2021.
Anjorin is said to be one of the most promising talents in Chelsea’s academy, having made his debut against Grimsby Town in the FA Cup earlier this season.
But the Blues are fearful that they could lose Anjorin for a knockdown price, as they did with Tariq Lamptey leaving for Brighton.
The 18-year-old is said to want assurances over his chances of first-team football before committing to a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
And should Bellingham arrive in the summer, it would mean another young midfielder battling for a place among the starting central players – of which Chelsea are well-stocked.
