Chelsea news: Blues told to make Sancho move, Tomori’s situation and Tottenham’s threats

Chelsea have a fight on their hands if they wish to hang onto a place in the top four of the Premier League for the end of the season.

The 2-0 loss against Manchester United coupled with Tottenham’s 3-2 victory over Aston Villa means that there is just now one point separating the teams.

It leaves Saturday’s game as what could be a season defining encounter between the two teams as Jose Mourinho’s men visit Stamford Bridge looking to leapfrog the Blues.

However, unlike Spurs, who are in Champions League action this week, Chelsea have a full week to prepare for the game.

Chelsea told to sign Sancho

BT Sport pundit Owen Hargreaves has told Chelsea to make a summer move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

The England international was in impressive form during his team’s 2-1 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night, a game which was dominated by young talent with Erling Braut Haaland scoring a brace.

Sancho is likely to cost in excess of £100 million should he move this summer, but Hargreaves has encouraged teams including Chelsea to target the youngster.
