Chelsea fans had more than one reason to keep an eye on the Europa League round of 32 clash between Getafe and Ajax on Thursday night.
Hakim Ziyech was named in the starting lineup for Ajax ahead of his summer move to Stamford Bridge, although he failed to impress during the 2-0 defeat.
There was also a current Chelsea player in action against the Dutch side. Wide man Kenedy is on loan at Getafe and came on the pitch to play the final seven minutes of the game.
And he made what could prove to be a vital contribution to the tie by scoring the Spanish side’s second goal three minutes into added time.

The 24-year-old took the ball in his own half and led a counter attack, travelling up the pitch with the ball. As he closed in on the door, his shot from just outside the area deflected past Ajax goalkeeper Bruno Varela and into the back of the net to double Getafe’s lead.
Kenedy has made 19 appearances for his loan club this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
He has scored three goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances for the Blues since his move from Fluminese in the summer of 2015.
The Brazilian has also been on loan to Watford and Newcastle United, and could be one player who Frank Lampard decides to move on during the summer.
