Chelsea picture special: Loftus-Cheek, Abraham and Christensen train ahead of Tottenham clash

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United last time out, a result which means they are at risk of dropping out of the top six altogether if they lose and results go against them this weekend.

With that said, they have beaten Spurs this season and won the corresponding fixture last season.

“Will Jose Mourinho set his team up smartly? Yes because he is a fantastic manager.

“They have attacking players who can give us problems.”

Lampard also has injury concerns of his own as N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic are both unavailable.

However, there is some fantastic news regarding Ruben Loftus-Cheek as he will be in the squad and could make his first senior appearance of the season.

The England midfielder trained at the club’s base in Cobham on Friday where he was joined by the likes of Tammy Abraham, Andreas Christensen, Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Mason Mount.
