Frank Lampard has just had his press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game with Tottenham, and as well as a slew of injury updates there was also discussion about tomorrow’s game.
The Chelsea boss was quick to call up one journalist who described Tottenham of being weak in attack. He reminded them of the threat that Dele Alli and Lucas Moura pose.
When talking about his own attacking situation, Lampard looked frustrated. He insisted that he couldn’t keep putting a half fit Tammy back into the team – “there’s competition in that area” he insisted, although not very convincingly.
He seems bothered by the niggling problem that’s kept his forward out, and also by the frustrations of having played him when he wasn’t fully fit.
