Chelsea player ratings: Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount superb in Tottenham Hotspur win

Willy Caballero

Would have got a lot of confidence early in the game after making an excellent save from Lucas Moura. Came and claimed the ball well on the odd occasion. One slip up when Japhet Tanganga almost got around him, but the Argentine was let off the hook.

Came out and punched really well at times as well. It was a solid performance for the Argentine, and right now there isn’t a real reason for Kepa to get the spot back. Couldn’t do anything for the Spurs goal. 7

Cesar Azpilicueta

Back in the position where he played so well for Antonio Conte, and he looked pretty solid once again on the right of the three at the back. One time he was beaten all ends up by Steven Bergwijn, but he did a good job in the first half.

In the second half, his defensive work was excellent and he really put in a good shift in that position. However, disappointing to have that ball round the back for the Spurs goal. 7

Andreas Christensen

Playing in the centre of the three at the back, he looked composed and read the game well in the first half. The mask didn’t seem to effect him, eiither. Marked his man well.

Didn’t have much of a danger in the second half, but his positioning was good. Was there to cover any balls into the box and be steady for the back three. 7

Antonio Rudiger

Early mistake after giving the ball away cheaply. A couple of times was out of position on the left of the three, but had the pace to recover. Firm in the challenge as well, but not his best first half.

In the second half he was better, and it was unlucky that the ball cannoned off him and into the back of the net. 6

Didn’t have a great amount of space down the right, but kept Ben Davies from having any joy as well. A couple of crosses into the heart of the box, but not with the usual quality….
