Hello and welcome to Stamford Bridge where Frank Lampard is speaking to the press after Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
After the loss to Manchester United on Monday night, the Blues needed a win to make sure they didn’t lose their place inside the Premier League’s top four.
Lampard’s side got off to the perfect start when Olivier Giroud, making a rare start, smashed the ball into the back of the net to give the Blues the lead.
Willy Caballero started in goal again and he made a decent stop to deny Lucas Moura in the first half, as well.

The second half got off to a great start as well, with Marcos Alonso firing home the second goal to give the Blues a gap.
There was more VAR controversy, however, when Giovani Lo Celso could have been sent off for an apparent stamp on Cesar Azpilicueta.
Spurs managed to get a late goal after the ball cannoned off Antonio Rudiger and into the back of the net, but the Blues held on.
