Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Blues lead Onana chase, agent talks Giroud’s links with Inter

Chelsea cemented themselves in the Premier League’s top-four after a 2-1 victory over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.

Goals either side of half time from Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso were enough for the Blues to seal a much-needed victory before Spurs got themselves on the scoresheet late on via an Antonio Rudiger own-goal.

The win has left Chelsea occupying fourth-place on 44 points, four clear of Spurs in 5th and Sheffield United in 6th.

But the Blues will be hoping to push on next season and make strides towards competing for the Premier League title once again, meaning they will need to be active in the summer transfer market.

With all of that in mind, here is a round-up of the day’s very latest Chelsea transfer news.

Blues lead the race to land Onana

Chelsea are leading Barcelona and Tottenham in the race to sign to Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to sportslens.

The Blues are likely to be prioritising the signing of a new goalkeeper this summer after Lampard made the decision to axe Kepa Arrizabalaga as his first-choice shot-stopper at Stamford Bridge.

And it is reported that Chelsea are heading up a queue of themselves, Barcelona and Spurs to sign Cameroon international Onana.

Meanwhile, it is reported by Caught Offside, that Onana is valued at €45million.
