Chelsea supporters will have a keen eye on the team selection Frank Lampard makes at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Blues take on German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16 first leg having strengthened their grip on qualifying for next season’s tournament with a 2-1 win over close rivals Tottenham on Saturday.
Bayern top the Bundesliga so far this season and are in top form, winning nine and drawing one of their last ten games in all competitions.
The German side have also been in London already this season, smashing seven past Tottenham in the group stages of the Champions League.

They won all six of their group games to reach the knockout stages and will pose a serious threat to Chelsea’ hopes of progression in the tournament.
How Lampard lines up will give us a good indication of his plans for the first leg and preparations for what is to come in the second leg too.
The head coach has a big decision to make at the top of the pitch. Does he go with top scorer Tammy Abraham, just edging his way back to full fitness after an ankle injury? Or does he choose Olivier Giroud, the man who opened the scoring against Spurs, a team interested in buying him in January, on Saturday?
