Chelsea are back in Premier League action at Bournemouth this afternoon following the 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
For the past two matches, Frank Lampard has gone for three at the back, however it didn’t work quite as well in the Champions League.
Lampard has got four players out for the game, with Tammy Abraham, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi all missing through injuries.
And the Blues boss might switch back to a four-man defence to get the best out of his team at the Vitality Stadium.

“We have to be fluid and results are normally how we perform as players,” Lampard said. “The input against Tottenham with three at the back was fantastic, against Bayern there were some individual errors which were crucial.
“Two goals in a few minutes in a game of that level make it difficult to come back from, we know that. I stand where I stood at the start of the week.”
Willian has not started the last two matches, however could come back into the fold with Olivier Giroud set to start again for the Blues.
Willy Caballero is set to keep his place in goal, and Ross Barkley could slip back into the middle of the park next to Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
A 4-3-3 formation could be the best way for Lampard to get the necessary performance out of his team in a big match for the Blues.
Lampard’s side were beaten by the Cherries earlier in the season, and are looking to win back-to-back Premier League games.
Predicted Chelsea team (4-3-3): Caballero; James, Christensen, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Kovacic, Jorginho, Barkley; Willian, Giroud, Mount.
