What Willian did to Kepa Arrizabalaga in Chelsea training session

Willian is one of the most skillful players in the Chelsea squad at present.

As revealed in the ‘Top 10 Classic Nutmegs From Chelsea Training’ video uploaded to the club’s official  YouTube account earlier in the month, the Brazil international featured twice as he humiliated both Fikayo Tomori and Billy Gilmour.

He’s also put the ball through Tammy Abraham’s leg during one training session this season.

And this week Willian has been up to his old tricks again – however, this time not a single nutmeg was involved.

Ahead of the the Blues’ double-header this week against Bayern Munich and Bournemouth the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Michy Batshuayi and Jorginho were put through their paces at the club’s training base in Cobham.

During a shooting drill, Willian decided to do things a little differently.

As spotted in a behind the scenes of Chelsea’s training session video uploaded to the club’s YouTube page, at around the 2.51 minute mark he receives the ball and takes a touch to set himself.

But instead of going for power, Willian pulls out an outrageous chip to deceive Kepa Arrizabalaga who just watched the ball float over his head and into the back of the net.

The 31-year-old then jogs back to the group nonchalantly.

Chelsea would go onto lose 3-0 against Bayern Munich in the Champions and neither started.

Willian did come off the bench in the second half and caused quite a stir with his post-match comments as he stated he’d only been offered a new two-year deal instead of three.

With his deal set to expire in June, head coach Frank Lampard insists talks are continuing.

“It’s an ongoing conversation,” Lampard said. “Maybe not ideal timing but I get asked every three days here, players get asked after games and it’s not always easy for them. People want some form of answer.
