Chelsea ‘join race’ for Man Utd and Liverpool target Jonathan David

Chelsea have joined the race for Gent ace Jonathan David as they look to bolster their attacking options.

However, they will have to fight off the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool for his signature.

The Blues are in dire need of strikers with the current crop falling short.

Tammy Abraham has been leading the line at Stamford Bridge this season but lacks experience and has been playing through the pain barrier.

He is currently sidelined with an ankle injury indefinitely and it has left the likes of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi as Frank Lampard’s only options.

The duo have hardly impressed this season, netting seven goals between them.
