But it was another frustrating result for the Blues, who took the lead in the first half after Olivier Giroud’s flick came back off the bar, with Marcos Alonso finishing off the rebound.
Two Bournemouth goals in four second half minutes gave the hosts an unlikely lead, and it was left to Alonso again to get a goal and salvage a point, heading in another rebound after Pedro’s shot was saved.
