Frank Lampard makes FA Cup vow to Chelsea fans over Liverpool team selection

Frank Lampard has vowed to pile more misery on Liverpool by dumping them out of the FA Cup tomorrow.

The runaway Reds were brought crashing down to earth when they lost 3-0 at Watford on Saturday to end their hopes of a historic unbeaten league season.

And now Lampard has promised to go for broke against them by playing his strongest team at Stamford Bridge to deny them a shot at the Treble.

The Chelsea boss said: “We will go for victory. It’s Liverpool. Our fans want us to overturn the best team in the land.

“It doesn’t mean I don’t change a couple of people, fresh legs or a couple of different options – but I wont pick a team casually.

He said: “Nobody thinks we will get anything at Liverpool. We have to make sure we’re at 100 per cent, and go into the game with the right attitude. It’s a challenge.
