Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is impressed by the job Frank Lampard has done at Chelsea since taking over at Stamford Bridge last summer.
Lampard has led the Blues to fourth in the Premier League table despite making no signings since becoming boss.
Chelsea had been handed a transfer ban stopping them from making signings last summer and though that ban was halved, Lampard did not bring any new faces to west London in January.
Instead, the former midfielder has utilised Chelsea’s young stars with the likes of Reece James, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham all impressing this season.

And Klopp, who takes his Liverpool side to Chelsea on Tuesday in the fifth round of the FA Cup, has been impressed by what he has seen at Chelsea.
On the job Lampard is doing, Klopp said: “Super job, whatever I could see. I like the project a lot.
“I’m not sure, maybe because of the transfer ban it was not really planned but having this amount of sensational young players is really nice.

“They are all ready to play in the Premier League obviously and they did well so far.
“But the fight for the Champions League means you have to beat at least three or four teams with similar circumstances, similar opportunities, possibilities and stuff like this.
“That’s a really long season, a really demanding season – with playing Champions League and all that stuff. So, that’s not so easy.

“But the way they go looks really promising and Frank is doing an incredible job.
“For all managers, especially Frank as a very successful player, to deal with defeats is the biggest challenge for all of us. But I thought so far they did really brilliantly.”
