Chelsea ‘make contact’ with super agent Mino Raiola over Gianluigi Donnarumma transfer

Chelsea are one of three teams who have reportedly contacted Mino Raiola over the availability of AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Italian shot stopper could be sold by Milan in an effort to balance the books with an annual salary of €8m (£6.97m) touted by Nicolo Schira .

Serie A rivals Juventus are also keeping tabs on the situation which could create a four-way battle

The Blues interest in Donnarumma would mean them dealing with Raiola who has got under the skin of many in England, not least Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he looks to manufacture a move for Paul Pogba.

Raiola has been accused of looking after his own interests as he manoeuvres his clients among some of Europe’s biggest clubs for hefty fees.

But Chelsea’s goalkeeping situation could force them into the market following Frank Lampard’s decision to drop record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga.

“I keep coming back to the same thing, it’s how well you train — [and] he is training well — and, when you get the opportunity to play, how well you play. That’s all I see.
