Frank Lampard tells Kepa Arrizabalaga his Euro 2020 fears are ‘not Chelsea’s problem’

Frank Lampard has told Kepa Arrizabalaga that fears over his Euro 2020 place are none of Chelsea ’s concern.

The Spain international is out of favour at Stamford Bridge at the moment with Willy Caballero preferred between the stick.

Kepa has had to sit on the sidelines for the last six weeks and is worried about losing a spot in the Spain team for this summer’s Euros.

But Lampard, who has hinted at a recall for the 25-year-old for Chelsea’s FA Cup fifth round tie with Liverpool tonight, insists club matters are his main focus.

“I can only pick the team from a Chelsea view. I haven’t discussed it with him,” he said.
