Chelsea are next in action when they face Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday night.

The Blues will go into the game at Stamford Bridge on the back of a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in the Premier League, a result which keeps them in pole position for the final Champions League spot.

And with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both failing to win their respective matches 24 hours later, it actually turned out to be a decent weekend for the west London outfit.

With that said, they face a massive game against a Liverpool side who were beaten for the first time in over 40 Premier League games by Watford and Jurgen Klopp will be looking for an immediate response from his side.

Tammy Abraham

Chelsea have been handed a fresh blow over Tammy Abraham.

Following two quickfire goals from Bayern after half-time, Abraham was introduced with half an hour remaining.

He looked set to go through on goal after the visitors had added a third, but was challenged by Jerome Boateng, with both players staying down after the tackle.

Abraham shook off the blow to carry on, but it looks as if it may have caused more damage for the England international.

The striker will miss the Liverpool game, as confirmed by Lampard.

“He went to Barcelona to get another set of eyes on it, and has come back relatively positive,” Lampard revealed in his pre-match press conference.
