Billy Gilmour sends ‘brilliant’ video message to Chelsea fans after Liverpool win

Billy Gilmour thanked the “brilliant” Chelsea fans after his stunning display in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Liverpool .

The teenager was named Man of the Match after his incredibly mature performance at Stamford Bridge against a strong Reds team.

Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley won the fifth round tie for Frank Lampard ’s side but Gilmour came away with all the plaudits.

Following the win, Lampard said of Gilmour: “What an incredible performance for a young player. He was a calm head in that first five or 10 minutes; he’s a throwback of a midfielder.
