Gary Lineker has picked out one Liverpool star for praise after their poor recent form.
The Reds were handed a third defeat in four matches on Tuesday as they crashed out of the FA Cup to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Lineker has now pointed out a player they have greatly missed in recent weeks while nodding towards a potential player of the year trophy for their skipper.
Jordan Henderson of Liverpool has been praised by Gary Lineker in his absence
He Tweeted: “There’s every chance that Jordan Henderson’s injury could well clinch him the Footballer of the Year trophy.

The 29-year-old missed two of their three defeats and the narrow win over West Ham with a hamstring injury, with Jurgen Klopp aware of his importance.
He said of the layoff: “It could have been worse. How we all know, it was a hamstring.
