Pace gathers for Telles to join Chelsea with third source reporting talks » Chelsea News

Chelsea surprised everyone a couple of weeks ago when it was announced that they had made an agreement with Ajax to sign their winger Hakim Ziyech in the summer.

Could this be something we will be seeing more of in the coming weeks?

Well, there are now at least three sources suggesting that Chelsea are in-talks with Porto to sign their left back Alex Telles.

First of all there were a few reports via Portuguese publication A Bola earlier this week suggesting that contact had been made, and that Porto were ready to cash in on Telles now, rather than lose him on a free next summer.

Then there was claims from a well known Sports Lawyer that Chelsea ‘are doing business with Porto.’

Now today, the reliable Italian transfer insider Nicolo Schira has confirmed that Chelsea are in talks to sign the 27-year old Brazilian international, who he says The Blues are ‘very interested’ in signing him.

#Chelsea are really interested in Alex #Telles (Porto) for the next season. Talks ongoing. He could replace Marcos #Alonso, who is the first choice of Antonio #Conte for #Inter as a left-back. #transfers #CFC
