Chelsea really have become Injury FC this season after being hit with a ridiculous amount of injuries, with as many as 8 first team regulars currently out injured or are a doubt for Sunday’s match against Everton.
It’s worrying signs and Frank Lampard is literally operating on a bare minimum, and is also without key midfielder Jorginho for the next few games who is serving a suspension.
Luckily it is a great time for young Billy Gilmour to step up and show his quality, as he will likely be playing quite a lot in upcoming games.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is another who has been very injury prone in his short career so far, seriously injuring his achilles last season seeing him miss a lot of game time, and most recently he has been out with a hamstring injury.
He was expected back any game now, but that is now in doubt due to further aggravating the same injury, according to the reliable Athletic Journalist Liam Twomey…
Had it confirmed that Hudson-Odoi aggravated his injured hamstring today. Not yet clear how bad it is, but clearly not what he, Lampard or Chelsea needed with the defining stretch of the season coming up #CFC
