Chelsea are gearing up for the huge Premier League meeting with Everton on Sunday, with the Blues looking to strengthen their position in the top four.
Frank Lampard’s side will go into the game in great confidence after the impressive 2-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round in midweek.
Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley sealed the victory and booked Chelsea’s place in the quarter-finals, where they will face Leicester City for a spot in the last four.
But, the Blues will go into the Everton game with a number of fresh injuries picked up against Liverpool.
Here’s the latest Chelsea injury news and expected return dates ahead of the Everton game.
The Blues lost the central midfielder early on against Man United several weeks ago and Lampard confirmed the extent of the injury afterwards.
“It’s an adductor injury. We will have to assess it, scan it,” he said.
“But it doesn’t look great.”

Lampard stated at the time that he hoped to have Kante back in three weeks.
“N’Golo [Kante] is not fit. He has got a muscle injury [adductor], similar to the one he came off recently against Arsenal with. Hopefully he will be [back] in three weeks, something around that.”
Mateo Kovacic is out of the Everton game after picking up an Achilles problem against Liverpool.
The former Real Madrid midfielder, who has been one of Chelsea’s stand out performers this season, was replaced by Mason Mount just three minutes before the break in midweek.
Speaking ahead of the Everton game, Frank Lampard said: “Kovacic isn’t fit, his Achilles injury will take him out of the weekend, but hopefully it will not be long after that.”
Willian also pulled up with a suspected Achilles problem while tracking back early in the second half against Liverpool, and is a major doubt for the Everton game.
