Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Blues monitoring Henderson, Ter Stegen targeted

Chelsea boosted their hopes of securing a top-four finish this season after an emphatic 4-0 victory over Everton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

First half strikes from Mason Mount and Pedro set the home side on their way to a second successive home league triumph before Willian and Olivier Giroud got in on the act after the break.

The victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s side capped off a good few days at the office for Frank Lampard and his players, as they knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup earlier in the week.

With Lampard’s side now getting back to winning ways in the league, following the 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth last weekend, they have most certainly boosted their hopes of guaranteeing themselves Champions League football for next season.

If the Blues do manage to get themselves over the line and into European competition for next term, head coach Lampard is going to be looking to bolster his squad in the summer transfer window.

And with that in mind, here is a round-up of the day’s very latest Chelsea transfer news.

Blues keep tabs on Henderson

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson as they continue to monitor their goalkeeper situation, report the Mirror.

The Blues are almost certain to be on the look-out for a new goalkeeper this summer, with club-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga’s future at Stamford Bridge in doubt.

And it appears that the Blues may have identified a potential target to replace the Spain international in the shape of Henderson, who is currently out on loan at Sheffield United.

Henderson has been outstanding for the Blades this season, racking up 10 clean sheets – a record that can only be bettered this term by Burnley shot-stopper Nick Pope.
