Chelsea strengthen their grip on fourth place in the Premier League this weekend with a 4-0 win against Everton.
The Blues moved on to 48 points with nine games to play as they defeated Carlo Ancelotti’s men at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea staying three points ahead of Manchester United in fifth.
But the job is far from over for Frank Lampard’s side, with several other clubs in the hunt to try and qualify for the Champions League next season.
And with Manchester City currently facing the possibility of a two-year ban from UEFA competitions, a fifth placed finish this season could mean qualification for next year’s Champions League, although City have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over the decision.

The race for the top five positions is wide open, with Leicester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolves, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal all battling it out to finish in the other three places, behind leaders Liverpool and second-placed City.
Between now and the end of the season there will be some crucial games played that may well determine the finishing positions of teams.
Among those are clashes between Tottenham and Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City and Arsenal’s trip to Wolves all before the end of the campaign.
There is also the small matter of the north London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26.
