Chelsea may now have a bit more unexpected time on their hands.
The Blues were expecting to be in action against Aston Villa this weekend, but Friday’s announcement that all game in the Premier League and FA Cup means that Frank Lampard’s men won’t be in action until at least the weekend of April 4th.
The announcement came after the coronavirus outbreak in the UK, with Chelsea revealing that Callum Hudson-Odoi had tested positive for the virus alongside Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta.
The extra time though could prove to be useful as Lampard looks to plan for the summer transfer window. The Blues’ boss has already bought in Hakim Ziyech but is likely to want to add more to his squad.

But there also could be outgoings that could be useful in providing a little bit of extra cash for Lampard.
So we take a look into the players who could be sold to free up some funds for new signings.
In recent weeks, Lampard has gone for Azpilicueta at left-back and Emerson has been out of the team.
And even when the head coach has gone for three at the back it has been Alonso who has been picked. Emerson’s last appearance in the Premier League came in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal back in January, and he only been included in the match day squad once since then
Lampard wants to bring in a new left-back this summer, with Ben Chilwell heavily linked, and if that happens then Emerson looks likely to be heading out of Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have a plethora of centre-backs at their disposal.
Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori were the favoured pair at the start of the campaign, but since Antonio Rudiger’s return from injury, the German has been partnered with Andreas Christensen, with Zouma and Tomori struggling for game time.
