Not a permanent deal

Chelsea and Frank Lampard will be looking at lots of options over the course of the summer. However, it would be a big surprise if Chelsea were to go after Coutinho on a permanent deal.

He has struggled at Barcelona, but has a contract that runs out in 2023, so would still be expensive. A loan deal could be looked at, but it might depend on other permanent signings.
