Chelsea ready to meet Jadon Sancho asking price

Chelsea are prepared to match Borussia Dortmund’s mammoth £120m asking price for England international Jadon Sancho, the Evening Standard reports.

The Blues are among a host of clubs that are keen to sign the 19-year-old in the summer transfer window and Dortmund are asking for a hefty figure for his services.

However, Chelsea have money to spend following the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer and have not made a signing in the last two windows, although a deal has been secured to bring Hakim Ziyech to the club from Ajax.

Lampard’s side will still face competition in the market for Sancho ‘s services though, with Manchester United and Liverpool among the other clubs attributed with an interest in his signature.
