Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko can’t wait to seal a permanent move away from the Blues, it’s claimed.
The midfielder never found his feet at Stamford Bridge despite costing an eye-watering £40m from Monaco.
He spent last season on loan at AC Milan and this campaign back at the Stade Louis stadium.
The 25-year-old has played 20 games in Ligue 1 this season – but a permanent Serie A switch could be on the cards.
According to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, Bakayoko is desperate to rejoin his pals at the San Siro.
A January transfer did look on the agenda. However, Milan’s failure to offload Franck Kessie derailed the deal.
Tiemoue Bakayoko flopped at Chelsea
“When I leave Chelsea, I have a feeling of failure because it’s a club I loved,” he explained earlier this season.
“There was a trigger because I had gone through all the stages and it was like I had a break in my ambition.
“I couldn’t do enough. Now I work a lot more.”

Offloading Bakayoko permanently could help the Blues raise some much needed funds.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is in the running for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.
Borussia Dortmund supremo Hans-Joachim Watzke has suggested he won’t stand in Jadon Sancho’s if the Premier League’s elite come calling.

“Jadon is a great, great talent, maybe the greatest talent in Europe currently of players under the age of 21,” he told RMC Sport.
“In my opinion, he has the potential to become one of the two or three best players in the world in the years to come.
“If one day he comes to us and says that he wants to leave the club, then we’ll discuss it.”
