The Chelsea evening headlines as Blues face Ziyech and Pulisic absence, Hudson-Odoi update

Here are your Chelsea evening headlines for Friday, March 27:

Hudson-Odoi update

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has provided another update on his situation following his scare of being tested positive with coronavirus.

Hudson-Odoi has now been given the all-clear from the virus and posted a video of himself running outside.

The video is on his official Instagram page and is a shot of him holding his phone whilst going on an intense run.

Ziyech and Pulisic problem

Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic could both miss a chunk of the Blues’ next season with commitments for their respective countries.

With the 2020 Olympic Games postponed recently, being scheduled for next year, the Games could take place in spring rather than its usual slot in the summer.

This means it will be directly after the African Cup of Nations, meaning that Chelsea’s new £36.6m man Ziyech could play for his country Morocco in both tournaments.

Likewise, with Pulisic, the CONCACAF Olympics qualifying tournament was originally meant for this weekend but has been postponed.

The American attacker would be more than likely to feature for the USA in the qualifiers, meaning Chelsea could be without two attackers for a period of next season.
