The 7 Chelsea wonderkids who could save Roman Abramovich millions this summer

Hakim Ziyech is set to join Chelsea this summer having agreed personal terms and Ajax having also accepted the transfer.

However, the Blues did not make any new transfers in January, meaning that the Blues will have some catching up to do over the course of the summer.

No one is quite sure when the transfer window will reopen in the summer with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak having caused havoc to the football schedules.

Roman Abramovich is likely to back Frank Lampard in the transfer window this summer, but could here be a few youngsters who have come through the academy or been out on loan who could add to the squad?

Conor Gallagher

Out of all the loanees this season, Conor Gallagher has been the most impressive during his time at Charlton Athletic and Swansea City.

The 20-year-old is aiming for Championship promotion this season with the Swans and has proved himself as a good goalscoring midfielder.

Lampard has been looking for more goals from his players in the final third, and Gallagher as a real chance to be a decent box-to-box player for the Blues.

He will get his chance during pre-season and hope to make an impression for next season.
