Real Madrid have slapped a massive £450million price tag on Manchester United target Federico Valverde in a bid to fend off any interest in the midfielder, report the Mirror .

The 21-year-old has burst onto the scene this season and has been making quite a name for himself in the Spanish capital, with his performances from the engine room showing great signs of quality.

His performances have caught the eye of United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on taking the Uruguayan to Old Trafford this summer.

Liverpool to let Swiss star leave

Liverpool will be prepared to sell winger Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, report Football Insider .

The Switzerland international has been no more than a fringe player during his two years at Anfield, with him struggling to get beyond Mohamed Salah in the pecking order to earn himself a starting berth on the right-wing.

Liverpool will be willing to sell the former Stoke City man for a fee of around £28million, with Spanish club Sevilla believed to be leading the chase to sign him this summer.

Roma and CSKA Moscow are also keen on landing the winger.
