Real Madrid star Karim Benzema took a cheeky “kart car” dig at Chelsea forward and former France team-mate Olivier Giroud.
The Frenchman has been at the Bernabeu for 11 seasons, scoring 241 goals in more than 500 appearances.
And he has been focusing on club football for five years, having retired internationally in 2015 after only playing four games that year.
In that time, Giroud has scored 30 goals for his country in 62 appearances.
But Benzema took a dig at the Chelsea goal hunter during an Instagram live with influencer Mohammed Henni.
During the chat, Madrid’s No.9 was asked if the Blues player was better than – and he came up with a brutal analogy.

“We cannot confuse and we must not confuse a Formula 1 car with a kart car,” Benzema said.
“I am kind to him, but I am Formula 1.
“It works in France because he has great players like [Antoine] Griezmann and [Kylian] Mbappé.
“He does his job. I don’t know if everyone likes his game.”

It comes as Zinedine Zidane appears to be looking for a new forward at the Bernabeu, with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane the top priorities.
But Mikel Arteta has said he will do everything he can to stop the Gabon forward leaving.
“Hopefully not just the wins, but as well what we are trying to do,” the Gunners boss said.
“That he really enjoys on the pitch every time he goes, that he feels very much part of what we’re trying to build here. And I think he’s with that mindset at the moment.
