Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has been dubbed the ‘most powerful woman in football’.
The ‘Iron Lady’ of the transfer market has become the face of the board at Stamford Bridge under Roman Abramovich in November 2017.
Sine starting her career as Roman Abramovich’s PA, Granovskaia has risen through the ranks and made her mark with one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
Now, she is at the forefront of their long-term project under club legend Frank Lampard which is set to culminate in a busy summer with their FIFA transfer ban lifted.
The likes of Philippe Coutinho and Jadon Sancho are being linked with the Blues, who have already agreed the signing of Hakim Ziyech.
Whilst prices could be high and there is stiff competition, Chelsea know they have a strong-willed and fierce negotiator in their corner in the form of Granovskaia.

According to The Athletic, she has developed a reputation within the game as “one of the most capable transfer dealmakers” with a reputation for being “firm but fair” at the negotiating table.
She has been lauded for her work ethic, with an agent saying: “She’s constantly working. It’s not uncommon to get a reply from her at midnight if she hasn’t had a chance to get back to you during the day.”
Relying mostly on phone calls and avoiding tricks and mind games some fellow negotiators are known for, Abramovich is kept regularly informed by Granovskaia.
Her negotiating tactics have been described by a rival club boss as “very straight forward, very business-like and very professional”.
