Marcus Rashford has admitted he is hoping Jadon Sancho will agree a move to Manchester United in the summer.
The Borussia Dortmund star is being chased by a number of Europe’s top clubs, with the German side apparently willing to let him go should they receive a big enough offer – thought to be around the €130million (£114.7million) mark.
Chelsea are among the clubs linked the most strongly with the 20-year-old star, who is said to have been a fan of Frank Lampard while growing up.
However, Manchester United are favourites to land the England international in the summer, and when asked about Sancho’s future on an Instagram live Q&A with fans, Rashford admitted he is hopeful of becoming teammates at club level.

“It would be good,” Rashford stated on a potential United move for the winger. “Sancho’s a great player and he’s like a new generation player.
“It’s definitely exciting to watch him become the player he’s becoming. Hopefully we can all play together, that would be good.
“He plays off the cuff, he’s creative and imaginative, these are the things you need to be world class.”
Liverpool were also said to be heavily interested in signing Sancho, though they are now thought to have dropped that interest given the huge fee that he will eventually cost.
Sancho has scored 27 goals and added 33 assists during his three seasons in the Bundesliga, becoming the first teenager to ever score 25 goals in the German top division.
With Willian and Pedro out of contract at the end of the season, Lampard is understood to be eyeing another attacker to come in at Stamford Bridge, with Hakim Ziyech’s arrival from Ajax already secured.
