Football stays very much up in the air at the moment as different leagues put different plans in place, and the unpredictability of COVID-19 meaning it is quite impossible to claim that any season or competition will still be completed.
Of course the Premier League have their plans to finish behind closed doors, but even that right now seems very unrealistic.
Then we have the European competitions to think about, with the Europa League and Champions League surely also needing to be completed if the domestic leagues are as well?
There are so many factors that play a part, and so many interlinking issues. I really still cannot see it going any other way than all football seasons and competitions this season being void and starting again when it is safe to do so.
UEFA will reportedly discuss the fate of the Champions League today, with it looking likely that the competition will be void, according to Footy Accumulators.
