Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri has been linked with a move away from West London once again, with Goal.com naming three teams in pursuit of the full back.
They say that the 25 year old is “in demand” and that there will be buyers for the Blues to speak to if they decide to part ways with him this summer.
There’s been a constant strain of rumours to that effect since he arrived, so it’s not come from nowhere.
Chelsea paid €20m for the full back to Roma in January 2018, and they would be hoping to get that much of that back for him selling him whenever the window is open again.
The club seem to have their own targets in mind, including Ben Chilwell of Leicester, and a sale of Emerson would make that far more affordable. With Marcos Alonso on the books too, there’s definitely likely to be a movement to shift at least one left back this summer.
If those three clubs are indeed interested, there’s even the possibility of making a profit on him.
